The Top 10 Reasons To Come Watch The Madison Radicals This Weekend

This article is presented by the Madison Radicals.

This Friday night at 7:30 PM, the Madison Radicals (4-2) play host to the Minnesota Wind Chill (2-5). Tickets, just $6 at the gate and $5 in advance, are available on the team’s website.

If you’re in Madison this weekend, here are 10 reasons you’ve got to come to the game.

1. Tailgating

There is usually some sort of pre-game tailgate going on at Reynolds Park just across the street from the stadium. In the past two weeks, this has included a sign making contest.

2. Great Atmosphere

The Madison Radicals' DJ.

We have a DJ up in the stands behind the crowd and music starts an hour before game time. Beer and food is available throughout the game. And if you get there early, you’ll have a better chance at being selected to participate in one of our exciting contests!

3. Contests

Who doesn’t want to win great prizes? Or watch others do hilarious stunts trying to win them?

Here are our contests:

Yumbutter Sticky Hands Challenge: Two contestants cover their catching hand in Yumbutter and try to one-hand catch a blade thrown from our bad guy thrower. Make catches, win prizes.

Roman Candle Well Done Pizza Toss.

Roman Candle Well Done Pizza Toss: We take an overcooked pizza and turn it into a frisbee. Three contestants get one toss each, for distance. The winner receives a $25 gift certificate and is invited back to try to win pizza for a year at the final home game.

Great Dane Ultimate Dog Show: We take two fans and dress them up as dogs. We throw a disc; the first one to return it to the thrower wins a prize.

4. Free Beer

Great Dane Brewing Company.

That’s right: free beer. Keep your ticket stub and get a free 12 oz. beer at Great Dane Brewing Company, an awesome local microbrewery, after the game.

5. Beer At The Game

This week, we will have Great Dane’s American Pale Ale and Scotch Ale on tap. Beers are just $5.

6. Fries In A Cone

It’s simple: fries in a cone with Radical sauce (wasabi ketchup) on top.

7. Great Ultimate

Much of the best North Central talent will be on display in the game, as the ever-present Minneapolis/Madison rivalry continues. Both of the teams’ meetings this season have been close battles.

8. Awesome Fans

Madison Radicals fans.

We have the best crowd in pro ultimate, guaranteed. Get crazy with the Radicals fans!

9. Cheap Tickets

It’s just $5 for tickets: the best price in all of professional Ultimate.

10. Bacon On A Stick

Bacon on a stick.

‘Nuff said.
