Neuqua and Pi Cup are this weekend!

Welcome to the fifth edition of the 2019 High School Power Rankings! The rankings can be permanently found on our Youth Rankings page.

With the Neuqua Knockout and Paideia Cup coming up this weekend and the start of High School State Championships right around the corner, we’re expecting some major rankings shakeups in the next few weeks. But for now, things remain mostly calm.

The rankings will eventually be used to determine invitations to the 2019 High School National Invite; currently, we plan to use the rankings published the week of May 6th as the final rankings before final bids are sent out (many bids have been and will be sent out on a rolling basis).

If you have additional information about tournaments or team strength that you would like to be considered for the High School Power Rankings, please email [email protected].

Without further ado, here are the Top 25 teams in the Boys’ and Girls’ High School Divisions!

Notes

  • League play in Washington state drives most of the changes this week as Roosevelt continues to sit atop the Seattle and National scene.
  • Amherst topped Four Rivers 10-8 in league play to jump ahead to #7.
  • Madison West, the top team in Wisconsin, cracks into the top 25 for the first time this season.

Notes

  • South Eugene showed out at the Lone Peak Invite, losing only to the host team (twice) but putting up a good game both times. The Oregon team has been a historically strong program and they look like they’re gearing up for another big year.
  • Pennsbury has been absolutely dominant this spring (11-0 so far) and just crushed Westfield 13-6. How will they stack up at Paideia Cup?
