Universe Point, Presented by UP Cleats: UBC vs. Colorado (Women’s)

Prequarters at Stanford Invite.

The most climactic point in ultimate is double game point–also known as ‘Universe Point’–when the pressure is on and a single goal will decide who will be the victor. This college season, Universe Point cleats is presenting every double game point we film. Check out Universe Point if you are looking for a comfortable, ultimate specific cleat with a patented stud pattern that can give you an edge to win your next double game point, or any other time you take the field.

At this year’s Stanford Invite, #9 British Columbia and #20 Colorado found themselves matched up in the prequarter round that closed out Saturday play. With pool play completed, for these two clubs, there was plenty on the line in the first round of the bracket. For UBC, it was the debut of their young but talented 2020 roster. A win would get that group valuable reps in pressure environments against strong competition. For Colorado, it was a chance to revive their reputation as a strong Nationals contender after middling results during the season thus far.
