Colorado tries to win consecutive tournaments on Universe!

#3 Colorado Mamabird earns their third straight Universe Point appearance (a new record?) after advancing to the Smoky Mountain Invite final against #4 Brown Brownian Motion. These two went back and forth all game, contending not only with each other but also with an at-times blistering wind. Brown’s Leo Gordon proved difficult to contain and Jacques Nissen had all the necessary skill to funnel him the disc. Those two standouts were matched evenly with Mamabird’s Alex Atkins and Calvin Stoughton, who steadily pushed forth the Colorado offense. With legs tiring and minds fatigued, the winner required one final push to secure the game and the tournament crown!
