Our first look at Abby Hecko and #2 Washington Element comes at Stanford Invite, and in a big time matchup against #10 Brigham Young CHI. Washington put on an impressive run at 2021 nationals, holding out in a thrilling 15-13 victory over Carleton in the semifinal before running into the unstoppable force of North Carolina stacked with their alumni. BYU has all the merits of a program fed by the strong Utah youth scene, and would be a strong competitor in the post-season if they participated. For them, tournaments like Stanford are their post-season, so watch them bring it all in the exciting conclusion to this one!
