Stock for the #24 Tulane Tucks was rising after they advanced to the bracket at 2021 nationals. But an opening round loss to Santa Clara in their first sanctioned action of 2022 showed that they have growth to undergo if they want to make it back-to-back nationals appearances. The University of Texas - Dallas WOOF hasn't had too much national success of late, but a 13-8 loss to #14 Cal hinted that they might be able to shake things up at regionals this year.
