While expectations were for #3 Colorado Mamabird to cakewalk through pool play at Prez Day, #22 California Ursa Major was the surprise winner of pool C, knocking down #19 Oregon 9-5. Day 2 power pools were no different, as both teams improved their weekend records to 5-0 ahead of this final showdown. Evan Magsig and Andrew Roy are a powerful 1-2 handler punch for Cal, whose steady offense will allow them to stay tight with even the best in the country. Lining up against a stacked Mamabird squad with title ambitions will be a great litmus test for how good this Cal team can truly be.
