The Maryland Space Bastards make their 2022 season debut against the Case Western Reserve Fighting Gobies. After being 1-point away from making the game-to-go to nationals in the fall, Maryland hopes to coalesce a little further this year and get back to the big event. Case was a darling low-seed when they made nationals back in 2016, but have not qualified out of the Ohio Valley Regional since. Their win over Notre Dame in the first round of Queen City should give them some added confidence this weekend.
