Southeast region competitors LSU Purple Haze and Florida State DUF start off their 2022 campaigns facing each other at Florida Warm Up. Both teams had disappointing results at fall regionals, and are in the midst of reclaiming their past status as nationals qualifiers. DUF was a semifinalist in 2015 amidst a run of 5 appearances in 6 years, but it hasn't been since the late '90s that Purple Haze has made the trip.
