Ted Phillips, a student at Duke University in the Center for Documentary Studies, did a short audio piece for a college course about race in ultimate. It’s something we’ve been thinking about here at Ultiworld — we had an article late last month about Eastern Michigan University and their “black line.” Phillips’ piece references that interview with EMU’s James Highsmith as he talks with various players about their experiences in the sport.
