This summer, Pittsburgh Ultimate is offering a fantastic new youth overnight summer camp: the Elite Ultimate Academy.

The camp will run from Sunday July 19th to Friday July 24th at Slippery Rock University, and will focus on all aspects of ultimate: skills, strategy, strength and agility training, sports nutrition, strategic film breakdown, and more.

Camp staff is primarily comprised of current and former Pittsburgh players and coaches, including nationally-recognized University of Pittsburgh head coach Nick Kaczmarek. Not only are these coaches players, captains, and coaches for Pitt, Temper, and MLU and AUDL teams, but also members of the 2015 Beach Worlds team, 2015 U23 National team, 2014 U19 National team, All-American teams, and Ultiworld Player of the Year runners up!

“This camp is about one thing: accelerating growth,” said Kaczmarek. “We aspire to develop the strongest leaders and players in the country. We value the Triple Focus: an understanding of oneself, an understanding of one’s teammates, and an understanding of team structures that make it all work. We build players so that players can build teams – and we seek to build the best.”

The camp is open to boys and girls aged 14-18 that have not yet attended college.

The EUA is not only a great place to learn and grow as a player with individual attention from coaches, but it’s also a great value! At just $600 for overnight campers, it’s the most affordable camp in the country! That price goes down to $550 if at least three people from a single high school team sign up.

With top coaches, a world-class disc golf course, a fun-filled curriculum, and superior dining and housing facilities, the EUA is a fantastic option for high school aged players looking to improve at ultimate.

For more information about the camp, go to the Elite Ultimate Academy website and like them on Facebook.
