To all our readers,

Ultiworld is not unique in the web publishing ecosystem. More and more, publishers — from small ones like Ultiworld to very large ones like the New York Times — have realized they cannot rely on advertising dollars alone. And in order to serve their communities, direct financial support from readers is necessary. Your subscription directly supports our writing, video, podcasts, streaming, and other coverage on everything from college to club to youth to international to disc golf. It means more than ever this year.

Film Room: Offensive Pull Plays [Introduction – Ep. 1]

Kickstart your offense!

Announcing a new series as part of the Ultiworld Film Room, our analysis and strategy videos available for subscribers! In this series, analyst Joseph Marmerstein will be going through common pull plays in ultimate, spanning a variety of offensive systems. Each video will focus on one play, covering design, variations and adjustments, and defensive approaches to stopping or limiting the play.

The first video in this series teaches general aspects of what makes a play effective, how to choose plays that fit your team, and how to make adjustments in-game based on the conditions or defense. This video will be available for free on Ultiworld’s YouTube for all to access. Future videos in the series (published every two weeks), though, will be available for subscribers only.
