Universe Point: Cal vs. UCLA

The first Universe Point of the year!

The Universe Point series is back! With the 2022 college ultimate season beginning in earnest at the Santa Barbara Invite, we got our first look at many men’s and women’s teams from the West Coast, including Cal Berkeley Ursa Major and UCLA Smaug. Cal has taken a major step forward this year, with talented veteran Andrew Roy taking the helm of the offense, and may threaten any team wanted to qualify for nationals. Smaug’s 2 point loss to BYU cemented them as a quality team. Coached by WUL Executive Director Felicia Yang, UCLA’s Riley Kirkman-Davis and Matthew Barcellos are rising talents that anyone in the division should look out for. With top tier talent all around, enjoy the kick off of this years’ Universe Points!
