Announcing The 2022 WUCC Pools & Format

Which pools are the deadliest? What do you think about the formats?

Ultiworld is excited to announce the official WFDF 2022 World Ultimate Club Championships pools and format for each Division with the start of the tournament just over two weeks away!

The top eight teams in each division were directly seeded by WFDF into the top spots in each pool. After that, groups of four teams (e.g. seeds 9-12, 13-16) were created and then randomly assigned to their respective pools.

As you will see in the infographics below, only the bottom finisher in each of the initial pools will be eliminated from Championship contention, so there are plenty of chances for teams to make a move for a run in the bracket. This is close to identical to the format from 2018, when the tournament was also held in Cincinnati.

The full competition schedule and game broadcast information is forthcoming. There is significant consolation play that is not listed in the graphics below.
