A Southeast grudge match, at nationals!

The first round of the D-I College Championships started with fireworks in a Southeast grudge match in the women’s division, as the Florida State Seminole Ladies sought to avenge their regional final loss to Georgia Athena. Florida State boasted a whopping 31-1 record entering college nationals, having won all 4 regular season tournaments they attended. Athena had a somewhat less glamorous record, but was led one of the division’s elite talents in Marie Perivier. With bragging rights on the line, this Universe Point was extra special!
