The UFA announced today that Madison, Wisconsin, will host the league’s Championship Weekend for the second straight year. The event will take place August 28-29, 2026 at Breese Stevens Field, the same location as the 2016, 2018, 2022, and 2025 championships and the home venue for the Madison Radicals. No other venue has hosted Championship Weekend more than once in the league’s history.

“The 2025 event was the best in league history,” said UFA CEO and Commissioner Tim DeByl, who is also the owner and former head coach of the Madison Radicals, in the league’s press release. “The play on the field was the strongest competition ever, but off the field, we felt this incredible energy from the fans throughout the weekend.” The league said that more than 4,000 fans attended games at Championship Weekend this summer.

Breese Stevens Field, now 100 years old, seats around 5,000 people at full capacity. There are ample concession options and a rooftop terrace along the west end zone. In addition to a partially covered bleacher section, the stadium also has a number of field level VIP boxes. The stadium is a landmark in downtown Madison, having been added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Tickets are already on sale, including single-day passes ($30) and weekend passes ($40). VIP tickets, featuring unlimited beer and pizza, are also available. Discounts are available for students and youth.
