Top Washington DC handlers Alan Kolick (right) and Markham Shofner have signed two year deals with the AUDL’s DC Breeze, according to the team.

Both players are mainstays for Truck Stop, the city’s club team, and have been playing in Major League Ultimate for years, winning a Championship together in 2014.

Kolick is widely considered one of the best players on the east coast and his move to the AUDL could foreshadow further player movement towards the AUDL in the Eastern Division.

There were no details immediately available about the two year contracts.
