Heading into the third round of pool play, WashU Contra and the UC Santa Cruz Banana Slugs had very similar resumes, going 1-1 with wins over Colorado State and losses to Cal. Aidan Curry and Liam Jay showed their merit early on for the Banana Slugs, and they'll need to continue their strong efforts against a WashU squad that had limited practice time heading into the event.
