The women's Southwest Regional was a stacked one, with five of the 8 teams ranked in Ultiworld's Top 25. #5 UC San Diego are the reigning national champions, but suffered the graduation of key stars. Now, Alexandra Diaz, Madison Tenney, and Lauren Hanna head another run at a title. #15 UC Davis has been quiet on the national seen as of late, but they have a storied past. A runner up in the inaugural season of the women's division at college nationals in 1987, Rogue has 7 nationals appearances and two championships, but haven't made it to the big one since 2006. They get their first shot here in the women's semifinal, a qualification game in the three bid region.
