Thompson has emerged as one of the most powerful and fearsome throwers in the game, so for a throw of hers to be surprising, it must be something special. But she showed off this monster of a throw at the 2019 US Open, taking the centering pass and dropping a standstill near-full field huck right over her target’s shoulder.
