The Best Tweets From Day One at Nationals

We comb the feed so you don't have to.

For those who have not been to Nationals in person, there are few events in our community that can match the camaraderie and celebration seen in San Diego. For everyone following along at home, there is only so much that can be seen on the Ultiworld livestreams, and many viewers supplement their Nationals-following experience with a scroll through Twitter.

If you aren’t on the bird app or missed some of the action, here’s a roundup of some of the best tweets we saw during Day One:

Aaron Liu is a Boise-based Coaching Intern for the WUL’s Utah Wild, and this tweet was the talk of the media tent for hours after it was posted.

Anders Juengst is a player on Raleigh Ring of Fire. His sister, Ella, plays for Raleigh Phoenix.

Chicago Machine went 1-2 with a point differential of -2 to take third in their pool

Ben Banyas is a Pittsburgh-based ultimate player.

Lauren Piontek is a player for Boston Siege.

Mad Udderburn placed 14th at North Central Mixed Regionals.

Zack Smith is a Seattle-based ultimate player.

Bama Secs is an account that tweets primarily about the Southeast Region, and isn’t necessarily up to date on the most recent rules update.

San Diego Wildfire went 0-3 on Thursday.

Noam Gumerman played for Brandeis TRON.

Cleveland Crocs lost the Great Lakes regional final to Hybrid after bracket play at their regional tournament switched locations mid-tournament.

Aly Steinfeld coaches Portland Schwa, and we concede we dropped the ball on this one.
