The MVP pool fills up

With only one weekend of the regular season remaining in the WUL, the candidates for postseason awards are coming into focus. We’ll turn to the season totals in a sec, but first, let’s review the best single-game performances over the past three weekends.
Table 1 shows the top 20 performances as ranked by E+, the newly re-minted composite of our EDGE and efficiency (hence, E+) stat. And by that measure, Abby Thorpe was back to her 2024 MVP ways with a 569 yards/5 scores/3 blocks/2.5 turn performance against Arizona that ended up on top. Dena Elimelech, Rory Veldman, Melissa Dunn, and Kelli Iwamoto rounded out the top five. In the case of Iwamoto, her stellar efficiency had much to do with it; over two games, she had 521 throwing yards without a turn.
