The Editors’ Blog has been a great space for Ultiworld’s core staff to share thoughts and context surrounding the news, but we want to involve the readers more. We get some really interesting emails (usually more insightful than even the comments), notably in the case of the recent Club Championships format change. We want more like this!
If you ever have some insight, analysis, or opinions on any story in ultimate, shoot us an email and we are likely to feature it here in the Editors’ Blog. It doesn’t need to be an essay or 750 word article — even 50 words of insight can be valuable.
One of the best things I ever received in am email was a single sentence: “Ultimate is just an elaborate game of keep-away; everything else is just gloss.”
Additionally, I get asked a lot of questions or requests to weigh in on certain topics. I’m going to start doing occasional Q&As here in the Editors’ Blog — just send me an email at [email protected] or contact me via the traditional channels (Twitter, Facebook, Contact tab on the website). Happy to field questions about news, business, or even Ultiworld-specific things.
