Tournament Reporters Wanted

Back in November, we put out a call for new writers. Happily, we’ve filled most positions (but you can send us an application anytime), but we are still looking for more local tournament reporters. We can’t be everywhere, so help us get coverage to those places we can’t quite reach! We pay our reporters.

From the November post:
Tournament Reporters. The weekend tournament is a staple of Ultimate. We are looking for on-the-ground reporters to take notes, shoot video, interview players, and more — basically, be a sports reporter. Skills required: quick, insightful writing and a knowledge of ultimate. You don’t need to be a trained reporter. Primarily looking for people outside the Northeast corridor.
This remains true, but we are particularly looking for open coverage in the Northwest, Southern Midwest (Texas/Oklahoma/Kansas area), and Southeast. We are also very interested in more women’s division reporters in all areas.

Are you knowledgeable about the ultimate being played in your area? Do you want to help redefine what it means to cover the sport of Ultimate? Whether you’re playing on a college team or just interested in covering the division, get in touch with us.

To apply, please send an email to [email protected] with your name, your credentials, why you would be a good fit for Ultiworld, and what tournaments you think you could cover.
