USAU does not have an open division, that’s WFDF. And I agree with NC, this comment is off-topic from the post, and despite what you say posting a one-off comment on an unrelated article will not result in a fruitful discussion, especially as you seem set on your opinion from your multiple similar comments on other posts

Thanks for the reply. I agree, probably not the best spot to post but I'm just trying to have the conversation online that people I play with have in person regularly. FWIW, I consider myself pro-trans and pro-women. I just don't think that sex assigned at birth (SAAB) males (who's world record huck is 95% further than the world record for SAAB females) should be playing in the girl's divisions. Isn't that why we have an open division?

I made an account just to respond to you and say that your decision making is craaazy. Posting on an article where players are just giddy to see their name on a list then using bitterness over a youth tournament from 4 months ago for a sport that has no real tuition prospects and no real impact on folks' future to make an anti-trans athlete statement. Regardless of whether or not I agree with your statement, the choice to post it here and now is wild.

Funny bonus segment.
Btw, I think tigers would win over chimpansees. But over gorillas not so sure.Deep Look LIVE: Drafting Ultimate ft. the Drafted Podcast · 3 days ago

I keep coming back to the issue of fairness. Fairness for the other girls on the team. I coach a girl's team. If a girl came to me and said she was taking testosterone to improve her athletic performance, I would tell her that's not ok. If a boy comes to me and says he doesn't feel safe playing on the boys team, by policy, I both a) have to let him play on my girls team (with his biological testosterone boost) and b) can't ask any questions about his decision.
How is that fair to the other girls?
When I talk with my daughter about how to help her team increase their chance to win at nationals, it really sucks to say, "Do you know any guys who are uncomfortable playing in the open division?" Honestly, how is South Eugene team playing with several male sex bodies fair to my daughter and the rest of her team. "Sorry Honey. Looks like you're playing for second."
How is not allowing girls to take testosterone to improve their athletic performance but allowing guys to play on the same team fair? I get that a trans/nonbinary people might face discriminations, but isn't that why we call it an "open" division? 2 division. Girls and everyone else. Seems more fair to everyone then pretending that a boy body performs the same as a girl body.

Although I’m okay with an international MMP group of Masahiro Matsuno, Tom Rogacki, Justin Foord and Masashi Kurono, Nasser M’Bae Vogel should at least have been considered. ;)
