At the Chesapeake Open back in early August, we caught up with Mamoots, a team that traveled to Washington all the way from Bogotá, Colombia. Mamoots followed in the footsteps of other Colombian teams like Kie and Euforia, both of which competed in the US Open in July. Colombian teams have been increasingly active in US tournaments as their ultimate community continues to grow.
As you’ll see in the interview, Mamoots took the opportunity to play in Chesapeake to help prepare their team for their very competitive national tournament next month. Ultiworld will be traveling to Bogotá for all the action.
