Ultiworld is excited to announce the hiring of Steve Sullivan as Executive Editor.
Sullivan, a long time player for Boston’s Slow White, comes to Ultiworld as an experienced writer and editor. He graduated in 2005 from Boston University with a journalism degree and a concentration in magazine journalism. He has been working for many years in communications and PR, mostly in the non-profit sector. He has also done some writing for USA Ultimate and is a veteran ultimate mind.
“We could not be more excited to have Steve join the editorial staff,” said Ultiworld editor-in-chief Charlie Eisenhood. “His deep experience in writing and editing combined with his passion for ultimate are going to be a perfect fit for the site.”
Sullivan will be helping lead Ultiworld’s expanding coverage into long-form writing and features. His experience in magazine journalism will help him guide writers to craft beautiful writing and tell the most important and engaging stories in the sport.
He will also take control of the burgeoning strategy and self-improvement content on the website as Eisenhood continues to focus on the news and reporting verticals.
“Over the last three years, Ultworld has proven itself to be the premier news source for our sport,” said Sullivan. “I’m excited to be joining the team to help develop content that deepens the breadth and depth of Ultiworld’s coverage to continue providing value to its current and future readers.”
