This post is brought to you by Aero Ultimate.
Aero Ultimate, the creators of the SkyLight and other innovative ultimate projects, is launching a new service under Universal Ultimate, their education and coaching umbrella, called Atlas.
Atlas is a curriculum database of over 500 topics that offers strategic insight into various big picture and technical skills within ultimate. Universal Ultimate will use Atlas as a resource to create lesson plan packages, match with drills and strategies, and introduce new ways to teach ultimate for different learning types.
The content is designed for use of players and leaders at all levels, and Aero will be working with coaches of different perspectives and experiences to make sure content serves multiple audiences, especially players learning ultimate for the first time.
Atlas is jumpstarting its development with a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. They are looking to raise $3900 to help quickly bring the Atlas database from 100 already-written topics to over 250.
By donating to the Indiegogo campaign at the early bird price of $7, you can have lifetime access to the knowledge database. You can donate at higher amounts to gift subscriptions to youth coaches ($15 or 10 for $50), subscribe a team ($28 early bird), or get access to lesson plans ($60) as well as the database.
There are options for individual players, captains, coaches, and teams.
For more information about Atlas and Universal Ultimate, you can check out the project’s Facebook and Twitter. The Indiegogo campaign runs for two more weeks.
