The US Open was the closest Denver Molly Brown has come to winning a TCT event this season, including Regionals. Despite playing the best ultimate we’ve seen from the Denver squad all season, the opportunity to leave their mustaches imprinted on a trophy in Minnesota was thwarted by an athletic Colombian team playing at their peak. Now, heading into the final tournament of the year, with their season on the line, Molly Brown’s chance at winning a TCT tournament trophy may again be determined by an athletic Colombian woman, who is playing at an extraordinary level — but may not yet have even begun to approach her peak.
