ROCKFORD, Ill. — Berkeley (CA) took home the High School National Invite trophy in the Boys’ Division with a 13-10 win over Edina (MN), and Roosevelt (WA) scored an upwind break to close out a 11-9 win over Lone Peak (UT) in the Girls’ Final.

Abby Hecko (below), the only U24 Team USA player at the tournament, was tremendous for Roosevelt, tallying six assists, two goals, and two blocks. She got a block on the game’s final point and threw the upwind huck assist that sealed the win.

Berkeley’s Leo Gordon (above) was the best player in the Boys’ final. He put up four goals, an assist, and a block on just one turnover, impressive in the windy conditions and with his high usage rate.

Stay tuned for more coverage of the High School National Invite in the coming days!
