During the US Open, there were several secondary storylines that emerged that I didn’t really get to touch on in our daily coverage. Sometimes only the biggest names get mentioned, or teams get knocked out too early for us to really get to talk about them in detail. So here are those little snippets: the thoughts I had during the weekend that didn’t quite make the cut for our daily recaps but still deserved discussion.
