In the last week of the regular season, bid hopefuls and regional contenders jostled for position on the fields of Frederica, DE. Nationals dreams rose and fell as some teams secured critical victories while others faltered under pressure.
#1 Tufts EWO were the class of the division, marching through the bracket to win the tournament handily. On the flip side, the second seeded #18 Northeastern Valkyries had a heartbreaking Saturday, going 0-4 in a series of tight contests to land themselves in the consolation pools.
Notre Dame Echo made a statement this weekend, going 4-0 on Saturday to put themselves in position to make a bracket run. Elsewhere in the division, #24 Penn Venus and #23 Ohio State Fever emerged as the top contenders for the Ohio Valley bid.
