We recently released our Top 25 Players, but how different would they be if we narrowed them down to a single day? Here are the peak performances of Friday in Burlington.

BURLINGTON, WA – We here at Ultiworld just love ranking things. We put out weekly power rankings and yearly jersey rankings and Top 25 player rankings (men’s and women’s). With so many great individual performances seen around the fields today, what better to do than to rank them? Now before all you readers get out the pitchforks about who we rank where, we just want to be clear that this is just a ranking of these players’ performances today – Friday, 23 May, Day One of College Nationals 2025 – not of their skill overall.

1. Ethan Lieman (UMass)
The clear alpha of a team chock full of alphas, Lieman’s play earned praise from everyone who saw him play even one offensive possession. Even the hucks were brilliant.
2. Elijah Diamond (Western Washington)
Need an Atlas? See if you can get Diamond on your squad. Today he proved that he could weather every team’s best shot and still play to perfection in a high-touch backfield role.
3. Nate De Morgan (Carleton)
De Morgan with an open lane and a cutter going deep is as automatic a break machine as a team can have. Source: just check out any of his assists against UNC today for the CUT D-line.
