Are we reaching a high point of jersey design? All around, the kits this year were excellent. We’re down to minor quibbles on the jerseys that make the “worst” list, and really the ones this year are not that bad compared to some actual trash I’ve seen in the past. There is not enough room here to give thoughts on every jersey at Nationals across all four D-I and D-III divisions. Amidst a lot of great options, I chose a handful that truly stood out for their unique design and creative vision.
D-I’s Best

UC Santa Cruz Sol White (VC)– Sol took last year’s interesting jerseys and spiced them up with such fun bursts of color. This is a great model for other teams looking to add just a little touch of flavor and flair to their white jerseys.

Cal Poly SLO SLO Motion Black (Spin) – The color scheme and softer font here is unique and fun. There really isn’t anything else like it in the sport right now. The bubbles are a really nice touch that takes advantage of full sublimation capabilities without overdoing it.

Tufts EWO White (Spin) – Tufts EWO have a near permanent place on their list; I’ve liked a lot of their designs over the years. This year, I love the way they supplemented the logo with a fun radio wave design.
