Women’s Division
Regional tournaments highlighted this week’s club action as there were no Triple Crown Tour Series tournaments.
Around the Division
- Weather halted the final of HoDown Showdown, leaving both no.1 Marietta Magma and no.4 Raleigh Shiver as co-champions. The two teams delivered thrilling one-point victories in the semifinal round, as Magma bested Charlotte Takedown and Shiver defeated Knoxville Dolly for President.
- Minneapolis Compact Disc captured the title at Cooler Classic 37 with a win over Chicago Dish in the final, though the official score is yet to be reported as of publication. Dish also fell to Compact Disc earlier the same day in pool play 15-5, but did register a victory over the top seed Milwaukee Medusa 12-10 to finish second in the pool and qualify for the championship game.
- Sommerloch Invite was cancelled.

Around the Division
- The highly anticipated final at HoDown Showdown between no.1 Charlotte baNC and no. 2 Tennessee Tanasi did not take place due to inclement weather. It was a battle between two undefeated teams, with Tanasi having the closer semifinal of the two finalists, winning 8-7 over Atlanta Mint.
- Huntsville Apollo, the no.6 seed, shocked everyone at the Kentucky Fried Classic by defeating the top seed Centennial Park WOMP 9-8 in the championship clash. This was a rematch of a first-place crossover game the day prior, which went to WOMP 11-7. The two teams won their individual semifinal matches by one, WOMP over Cincinnati Endgame and Apollo over Lexington Black Lung.
- The fourth seed at Cooler Classic 37, St. Louis Lounar, beat no.8 Indianapolis I-69 in a tight 14-13 decision in the final. #24 Chicago Trident, the only Ultiworld power-ranked team in action this weekend, could not continue the momentum from their second-place showing at Select Flight Invite West and was eliminated in quarters by I-69, 13-10.
- A rematch of last year’s Northeast game-to-go unfortunately did not take place at Vacationland, as no.1 Portland Red Tide and no.2 Ottawa Phoenix had their final clash canceled due to heat. Red Tide cruised in their semifinal victory over Amherst Sprout 14-8, while Phoenix got by fellow Canadians Halifax Red Circus 14-13 in the other semifinal matchup.
- Rocket City Classic was cancelled.

Mixed Division
Around the Division
- After dropping their first game to Columbia Bar None, no.9 Durham Brunch Club proceeded to win all their remaining games at HoDown Showdown, including a tight 15-14 win in the final over Bar None in a rematch. To reach the championship, Bar None snuck by the top seed Roma Ultima by one, after Roma had eliminated no.2 Athens Murmur 13-12 in quarters.
- Akron Nimb won the Kentucky Fried Classic after an 11-9 win over Nashville Tempo in the final. They, plus Indiana Pterodactyl Attack (IPA), all finished 4-1 in pool play, with IPA actually defeating Nimb 13-12. But IPA fell to Tempo 11-8, which placed them third by score differential in the three-way tie.
- Portland Porch Bears won their home city tournament, Portland Kleinman, with a 15-12 victory over Honolulu Party Wave. Both finalists came out of Pool C, with Porch Bears also winning the pool play encounter as they finished the tournament undefeated.
- The top two seeds met in the final of Flower Power. No.1 Santa Barbara Landsharks never surrendered double digits throughout the tournament and delivered a commanding 13-7 victory over no.2 Culver City Octonauts. Both sides did not suffer a loss up until that point.
- Vermont rivals, no.1 Burlington Big Rig and no.4 Burlington Zero Strategy tied for first at Vacationland as the championship game was canceled due to heat. Both squads won close semifinal matches to get there, with Big Rig besting second seed Portland The Buoy Association 11-10 and Zero Strategy defeating Mansfield Darkwing, the third seed, 13-12.
- It was a two-game round robin at the Garbage Pla(c)e’s Extra Fancy Tournament featuring Rochester Garbage Pla(C)e and Rochester Compost Plates. Garbage Pla(C)e won both games by identical 15-4 scorelines.
- Rocket City Classic was cancelled.
