Women’s Division
WUCC: A Joyous Scandal
Seventh-seeded Washington DC Scandal defeated no.19 GRUT 15-13 in the World Ultimate Club Championships final, denying the Dutch side its first world championship in its first-ever final. GRUT’s run to the championship game included six wins over higher-seeded teams, including a pool play upset of no.1 Macana, and made the Dutch side the first European women’s finalist since 1999. Scandal took an early lead and stretched it to 11-7 before GRUT fought all the way back to 14-13. Scandal held their composure to close out the title, with Tyler Smith finding Amanda Murphy for the game-winning score. Lola Dam led GRUT with four goals and three assists.
Scandal reached the final with a 13-11 win over no.3 San Francisco Fury in the semifinal, while GRUT continued their run with a 15-10 victory over no.5 Tokyo Mavericks. Fury emerged victorious over the Mavericks in the bronze medal match 15-10, and no.12 Mooncup edged out no.2 Brute Squad 15-14 on universe to take fifth.

ESC: Bay Area on Lock
Second-seeded San Francisco Nightlock went undefeated to claim their first tournament win of the season at Elite Select Challenge, defeating #15 Minneapolis Pop 15-6 in the final. Nightlock took down top seed San Diego Flipside 12-10 in the quarterfinals before beating #9 Philadelphia Flight 14-11 to reach the final. Pop meanwhile reached the championship game with a 13-12 win over #23 Colorado Kelp and a 13-5 victory over #20 Nemesis.
#13 Dallas Dimes also impressed over the weekend, going 2-1 in pool play with a dominant 15-5 win over #18 Madison Heist before falling to #21 Vancouver Traffic on universe. Their stifling defense and precise throwing gave them one of the weekend’s more notable pool-play performances.

Around the Division
- The only other women’s event of the weekend was Up for Grabs 2026, a six-team tournament in Pittsburgh. Cincinnati Sureshot won all of their games, including two one-point contests against Columbus Solstice and Pittsburgh Incline. Sureshot took home the tournament title with a 15-12 win over Solstice in the final.

Men’s Division
WUCC: Revolver Reclaim Worlds
Top seeded San Francisco Revolver defeated no.7 New York PoNY 15-12 in the WUCC Open Division final, completing a dominant run through the bracket and claiming their fourth WUCC title. After PoNY opened with a break, Revolver settled in and took half 8-5, then closed out the game without surrendering another break. Walker Frankenberg led Revolver with three goals and three assists, while Mac Hecht added four assists.
Revolver reached the final with a 15-10 win over no.5 Clapham, while PoNY mounted a massive comeback against no.3 Brussels Mooncatchers, erasing a 12-9 deficit to win 14-13 on universe point. PoNY’s run included wins over no.8 Toronto GOAT, no.2 Chicago Machine, and Mooncatchers, while Revolver breezed through a bracket where their closest game was the five-point semifinal win over Clapham.
Clapham took third with a win over Mooncatchers, while Chicago Machine defeated no.9 Sunder on universe point for fifth. No.28 Gentle finished seventh after upsetting no.4 Wall City.

ESC: Pac Attack
#10 Philadelphia Pacmen won the Elite-Select Challenge title, narrowly escaping #11 Atlanta Chain Lightning 14-13 in the final. Pacmen reached the championship game with a 15-11 win over #15 Denver Johnny Bravo, while Chain Lightning knocked off #7 Minneapolis Sub Zero 15-12 in the semifinals. Bravo also broke seed in the quarterfinals, defeating in-region rivals #12 Austin Doublewide 15-11.
Chain Lightning’s semifinal upset ended Sub Zero’s hopes of a first tournament win. Sub entered the tournament as the top seed despite missing several key players from their U.S. Open roster. Pacmen went unbeaten throughout the weekend, while Chain Lightning’s only loss came to Bravo in pool play before their run through the bracket.

Around the Division
- Midas the III in Columbus, Mississippi saw Huntsville Apollo defeat Mobile Battleship 13-7. Apollo did not go undefeated, losing 13-11 to Mississippi Cookie Mon$terz at the end of pool play, but the Mon$terz could not reach the final, falling by one to Battleship in semis.
- At Ow My Knee! in New York, Amherst Sprout cruised to a tournament victory, beating Boston Lantern 12-5. Sprout’s closest game was a 13-10 semifinal win over Arlington Oak Grove Boys, who entered Ow My Knee! as the top seed. Oak Grove also took an opening-round loss to Garden State Ultimate but rallied to take third with a revenge win over the same Garden State team.
- Dallas ZOO won Royal Experience with a 14-4 victory over Kansas City NOx. ZOO rebounded from a pool play loss to Iowa City Zodiac, taking a comfortable win over Colorado Springs The Incline in quarters before prevailing in a tight one-point game against Fayetteville Dreadnought to reach the final.
- Rumspringa went 3-0 to win the eponymous Rumspringa Round Robin, never allowing double-digit goals and beating Wilmington EZ 12-9 in the de facto final.
- In Washington, hosts Seattle SOUF defeated fellow Seattle team Switchback 14-11 at SOUF City Showdown. SOUF won out to take home the title, never allowing double-digit goals against until the bracket. Seattle AVE outperformed seed, finishing fourth after entering seeded tenth and playing close in losses to just the finalists.

Shipshape, a one-day tournament in Charlotte, North Carolina, is the only men’s division event next weekend.

Mixed Division
WUCC: Hail Hybrid
Top seeded Ann Arbor Hybrid defeated no.6 New York XIST 15-9 to win their first WUCC mixed title, adding a world championship to the resume of a team that has dominated the US mixed division for years. XIST took an early 3-1 lead, but Hybrid recovered to claim an 8-7 advantage at half before pulling away in the second. Hybrid scored seven of the final nine points, with Lili Hobday at the center of the decisive run. She finished with three goals, including both of Hybrid’s back-to-back breaks in the first half, and then laid out to save a possession before throwing the final score to Annalise Meilink.
Hybrid reached the final with a dominant 15-7 win over Austria’s Mosquitos, while XIST beat no.2 Fort Collins shame. 15-11 after building an early 5-0 lead and holding off a second-half comeback. shame. took third with a 15-12 win over Mosquitos, giving US teams a sweep of the podium.

ESC: Tower on Top
#17 Sacramento Tower won the Elite-Select Challenge title, defeating #4 Philadelphia AMP 15-12 in the final. Tower knocked out #7 Washington DC Rally, the top seed, 14-12 in the quarterfinals before beating upstarts Pittsburgh Port Authority 14-10 in the semifinals. AMP reached the final with a 12-11 quarterfinal win over #6 Seattle BFG and a 13-11 semifinal victory over in-region rivals Rally.
Port Authority were one of the weekend’s biggest surprises, holding both #8 Durham Toro and #24 Denver Mile High Trash to just nine points to go undefeated in pool play and running all the way to the semifinals. #18 California Burrito also made the bracket after a 2-1 pool play showing where they only fell to AMP by one.

Around the Division
- Ow My Knee! in New York saw overall one seed Albany Bench take the title with a 13-12 win over the third seed, Newburgh Funk. Funk upset no.2 Providence Quahogs 11-9 to make the final, Quahogs’ only loss of the weekend. Providence rebounded from the loss to take a one-point win over Cambridge Lampshade for third place.
- At Spawnfest in Bellingham, Washington, top seeded San Diego Shipwreck defeated Seattle Smack! 11-10 in the final of the five-team round robin. The semifinals were similarly tight affairs, with Shipwreck beating Bellingham Squid Inc. 10-9 and Smack! taking down fellow Seattlites BOP 9-8.

Northwest Fruit Bowl takes place next weekend in Federal Way, Washington, featuring a strong field including #5 San Francisco Polar Bears, #13 San Francisco Mischief, #15 Los Angeles Lotus, #21 Oregon Scorch, #22 Boston Wild Card, Seattle Spoke, Baltimore Anthem, Chicago Parlay, Philadelphia Cupcakes, Mansfield Darkwing, South Bay LIT Ultimate, and Montana MOONDOG.
