Women’s Division
Great Lakes
- All four teams advanced from the Central Plains Section. Chicago Nemesis finished first with a win over Indy Rogue 15-5 in the de facto final, while Chicago Dish and Chicago Lakeshore Drive also competed at the one-day event.
- In the East Plains Section, all four teams competing also moved on to Regionals, with Cincinnati Sureshot coming out on top with a victory over previously undefeated Columbus Solstice 14-11. Cleveland Lake Erie Walleye and Detroit Frosted were also at the one-day competition.
Mid-Atlantic
- Washington DC Agency finished undefeated at the Capital Sectional Championship, including a 15-6 victory over Virginia Rebellion in the final. Washington DC Dissent beat Charlottesville C’ville Sirens 13-11 for third, while Arlington Aces, Baltimore Wave, and Pittsburgh Incline also qualified for Regionals. Central Appalachia Section teams were also invited to attend in lieu of their own event.
- #9 Philadelphia Flight ended Founders Sectionals with a 3-0 record. The other three teams competing also made Regionals: New Brunswick Pine Baroness, Philadelphia Zephyr, and Philadelphia Splurge.
North Central
- The North Plains Sectional Championship consisted of one game, which was won by Milwaukee Medusa 15-9 over Central Wisconsin Phoenix. Both teams have qualified for Regionals.
- #14 Minneapolis Pop finished 2-0 in the one-day Northwest Plains Sectional Championship. Minneapolis Compact Disc and St. Paul River Monsters were the other teams at the event and also advanced.
- In West Plains Sectionals, St. Louis Stellar squeaked by Kansas City Wicked 12-10 in the one-game tournament. The two teams earned bids to the next round.
Northeast
- Northampton Starling went 4-0 at the Metro New York Sectional Championship, highlighted by a 13-5 victory over Brooklyn Book Club in the de facto final. All the teams at the event advanced: New York Pizza Rat, New York Remember When, and New York SMISKI.
- All three teams in the South New England have advanced to Regionals. Cambridge Vice upset Boston Siege 11-10 in the de facto final, while Cambridge Versa was also at the one-day round-robin tournament.
- #18 Ottawa Stella gave up one point in two games at Upstate New York Sectionals. They picked up wins over Buffalo Polar Vortex and Albany Syrup!, with both teams also moving on to the next round.
Northwest
- All three teams in the Big Sky section have advanced to Regionals. Utah Dark Sky went undefeated, beating both Boise Seven Devils and Salt Lake City Swell by scores of 15-5 and 15-6, respectively.
- The Oregon and Washington/BC Sectionals were combined. Vancouver Drift placed first with a 12-8 decision over Vancouver Komodos. Seattle ditto, Seattle Dogfish, Portland Rain Check, and Seattle Soul have also advanced to Regionals.
South Central
- The Red River Section was combined with the South Texas Sectional Championship, which saw #22 Dallas Dimes earn a 15-7 victory against Austin Vengeance in the title game. San Antonio Problems and Houston Crush City also qualified for Regionals, with Crush City getting past 12-7 Houston Inferno in the game-to-go.
- #15 Colorado Kelp was undefeated at the Rocky Mountain Sectional Championship. Colorado Cutthroat U-20 Girls was second, while Colorado Spring COSMOS and Fort Collins Trainwreck have also qualified for Regionals.
Southeast
- Atlanta Ozone finished with an unblemished 4-0 record at the one-day East Coast Sectional Championship, which included an 8-5 win over Marietta Magma in the de facto final. All the teams at the tournament have advanced to Regionals: Knoxville Dolly For President, Charleston Chaos, and Atlanta Goat Farm.
- In the one-game Florida Sectionals, Gainesville Levels came out on top with a 14-9 decision over Tampa Calypso.
- Charlotte Takedown captured the North Carolina Section with a 15-10 victory over Durham Shiver in the championship game and only matchup of the tournament. Both teams qualified for Regionals.
Southwest
- The West Bay Section combined with the Nor Cal Section, and all seven teams have moved on to Regionals. #19 Oakland LOL came out on top in the final over Bay Area FAB by a 12-3 scoreline. Also competing were Alameda OAK Frost, Sunnyvale Void Cat Rewind, Sacramento Delta, Bay Area Tempo, and Bay Area Violet.
- San Diego Wildfire captured the So Cal Sectional Championship with a 3-0 record and a 15-5 win over Tucson Gila Monster in the de facto final. All teams competing advanced to Regionals, which includes Los Angeles Rampage and Phoenix Haboob.
Looking Ahead
With Sectionals now complete, all eyes are set on Regionals in two weeks on September 26-27. In alphabetical order, the eight Regional tournaments are Great Lakes, Mid-Atlantic, North Central, Northeast, Northwest, South Central, Southeast, and Southwest.
Men’s Division
Great Lakes
- #18 Chicago Haymaker captured the Central Plains Section with a 15-10 win over Indianapolis I-69 in the final. Chicago Trident also qualified, while Chicago Roundhouse got the last bid with a 13-10 victory over Champaign Omen in the game-to-go.
- Durham Houndd won the East Plains Sectional Championship with a 13-12 decision over Columbus Flying Dutchmen. Eight other teams also qualified for Regionals: East Lansing ELDL, Cincinnati Endgame, Cincinnati Dynasty, Lexington Black Lung, Louisville Colonels, Cleveland Forest City, Mississauga EtobiCoke, and Dayton Enigma. Enigma defeated Canton Mischief 12-7 in the game-to-go.
Mid-Atlantic
- Arlington Oak Grove Boys knocked off #25 Virginia Vault by a score of 13-9 in the final of the Capital Sectional Championship. Washington DC John Doe, Richmond Crypt, and Richmond My Guys are also moving on. My Guys defeated Lynchburg L.U.T. $ack 12-10 in the game-to-go.
- Pittsburgh Port Authority Temper won the Central Appalachia Sectional Championship with a 15-6 decision over Baltimore MOB Ultimate. Also qualifying was Pittsburgh Hazard, while York Gummy Bear Hitmen earned the last bid as they beat Pittsburgh Stealers 12-9 in the game-to-go.
- Virginville Rumspringa and Philadelphia UPDOG tied for first at the Founders Sectional Championship, while New Brunswick Garden City Ultimate and Philadelphia CITYWIDE Special shared third place. Haddonfield Rebels earned the last spot to Regionals with a 14-9 decision over New Jersey Gemini in the game-to-go.
North Central
- #17 Madison Mad Men went 3-0 to earn the top spot at North Plains Sectionals. Four more of the seven teams advanced to Regionals, in order: Madison Zoboomafoo, Milwaukee Fuse, Stevens Point & Fox Cities Timber, and Hartford Rubicon Rapids.
- Winnipeg General Strike placed first at the Northwest Plains Sectional Championship after a victory over Minneapolis Mallard 15-10 in the championship game. Golden Valley Knights of Ni captured second with a 15-8 win over Mallard, and Minneapolis Surly got the last spot with a 15-12 deicision over Duluth DINGWOP in the game-to-go.
- The West Plains Section went to St. Louis Lounar, who defeated Des Moines DeMo 15-8 in the final. Kansas City Smokestack took second as they beat DeMo 15-10 in the second-place final, while the other teams who have qualified for Regionals were Iowa City Zodiac, Saint Louis Dinodisc, and Kansas City NOx. NOx got past Omaha Scythe 15-11 in the game-to-go.
Northeast
- #22 New York Blueprint bested New York Shade 15-7 in the final of the Metro New York Sectional Championship. Connecticut Colt placed third and earned the last bid to Regionals with a 15-10 victory over West Chester Magma Bears.
- Two Canadian teams qualified for Regionals out of the North New England Section. #20 Montreal Mephisto finished first with a 14-11 win over #21 Quebec City Quake. Quake rebounded with a 15-12 decision against Halifax Red Circus in the game-to-go.
- Amherst Sprout won the South New England Sectional Championship with a 15-9 victory over Somerville Big Wrench in the final. Also qualifying were: Medford Odyssey, Somerville BAG, Boston Iditarod and Needham Skeleton Club. Providence Poultry unfortunately dropped the fourth-place semifinal to Iditarod before falling in the game-to-go to Skeleton Squad.
- The Upstate New York Sectional Championship title went to Ottawa Phoenix, who bested Rochester DAPPER 15-9 in the final. DAPPER got past their B team, Rochester DAP LAB, 8-5 in the game-to-go.
Northwest
- Utah Lightning Goblins captured the Big Sky Section with a 9-6 victory over South Jordan Lil’ Huckers in the final. Boise Sawtooth also qualified for Regionals, defeating the top seed Salt Lake City Powderhogs 15-13 in the game-to-go.
- #14 Eugene Dark Star went 2-0 at the one-day Oregon Sectional Championship with wins over Portland TremOR and Portland Junco. Both Portland teams also qualified for Regionals.
- #15 Vancouver Furious George placed first at Washington/BC Sectionals with a 15-11 win over Seattle AVE. Victoria Surf finished second with a victory over AVE in the second-place game, while Seattle Grudge and Seattle SOUF also advanced to Regionals. SOUF beat Vancouver Blackfish 15-7 in the game-to-go.
South Central
- The Red River Sectional Championship went to Texas BBQ, who defeated Dallas ZOO 14-11 in the final. Also qualifying were Fayetteville Dreadnought and Tulsa Rawhide, who got past Little Rock Apollo 15-9 in the game-to-go.
- Denver Fungi got by Boulder/Denver ISO Atmo by a tight 15-13 scoreline at the Rocky Mountain Sectional Championship. Denver Tugboat also qualified for Regionals along with Denver (washed), Boulder Dingles, and Colorado Springs The Incline. The Incline won the game-to-go 14-8 over Colorado Cutthroat U-20 Boys.
- #16 Austin Doublewide took home the South Texas Sectionals title with a 14-10 victory over San Antonio Alamode in the final. Texas City H.I.P., Texas Tea, and Austin Riverside have also advanced to Regionals. Riverside beat Austin Cozy Boys 14-8 in the game-to-go.
Southeast
- Tennessee Tanasi placed first at the East Coast Sectional Championship with a 15-12 decision over Atlanta Mint. Atlanta Arson also earned a spot to Regionals along with Centennial Park WOMP, who bested Charleston Heat Stroke 15-8 in the game-to-go.
- Florida Untied finished undefeated at Florida Sectionals, highlighted by a 15-9 win over Key West ELE 15-9 in the championship clash. ELE came up short in the game-to-go as they fell to Fort Lauderdale El Niño 12-10, who earned the last spot to Regionals.
- The Gulf Coast Section was won by Huntsville Apollo as they defeated Mobile Battleship 15-9 in the championship game. Mississippi Cookie Mon$terz got the last bid to Regionals with a 15-10 win over New Orleans Gang of Disc in the game-to-go.
- Charlotte baNC toppled Bahama The Expendables 15-8 in the final of the North Carolina Sectional Championship. The other qualifiers to Regionals were Morrisville Triumph, and Chapel Hill Cash Crop 2, who beat Charlotte Queen City Kings 15-11 in the game-to-go.
Southwest
- Sacramento Swordfish beat East Bay OAT 13-5 in the final of the Nor Cal Sectional Championship. OAT cruised in the game-to-go, beating Fresno Firefall 15-6 to take the second and final bid to Southwest Regionals.
- The So Cal Sectional title went to Phoenix Nighthawk as they beat Los Angeles Hazard 14-10 in the championship game. San Diego Skipjack and Irvine OC Crows, who defeated Arizona Frisbee Club 12-6 in the game-to-go, have also earned bids to Regionals.
- Santa Cruz Wavestorms finished first at the West Bay Sectional Championship after a 15-11 victory over San Francisco Zodiac in the final. Sebastopol Orchard also qualified along with San Francisco Battery, who bested San Francisco Ghost Train 15-10 in the game-to-go.

Mixed Division
Great Lakes
- The Central Plains Section went to Indianapolis Spectre, who capped off an undefeated weekend with a 15-9 victory over Chicago RAMP in the championship clash. Also qualifying for Regionals were Indiana Pterodactyl Attack, Chicago Stackcats, Champaign Prion, Chicago Parlay, South Bend Skyhawks, and Chicago Jabba. Jabba beat Chicago Nothing’s Great Again (aka Babymaker) in the game-to-go.
- #20 Toronto Union finished first at East Plains Sectionals with a 15-7 decision over Columbus Dispatch. Also qualifying for Regionals: Cincinnati Steamboat, Ann Arbor Twist, Akron Nimb, Grand Rapids Toast!, and Cincinnati Queen City Gambit. Queen City Gambit defeated Columbus Chaos 15-10 in the game-to-go.
Mid-Atlantic
- The Capital Section went to Richmond Revival, who bested Washington DC Fireball 10-6 in the final. Joining those two teams at Regionals will be Washington DC HVAC, Washington DC Ant Madness, and Washington DC Obelisk, who got past Lynchburg Legion 14-8 in the game-to-go.
- #19 Pittsburgh Port Authority bested Baltimore Anthem 15-13 in the final of the Central Appalachia Sectional Championship. Columbia/Baltimore Heavy Flow defeated Harrisburg Farm Show to earn the last bid to Regionals.
- Princeton Jughandle went undefeated at Founders Sectionals and beat Philadelphia Cupcakes 14-7 in the final. Wilmington Delabear qualified second out of the section with an 11-10 victory over Cupcakes, while Allentown PS and Philly Twist have also earned spots to Regionals.
North Central
- Madison Noise bested Milwaukee Northern Comfort 13-11 in the final of the North Plains Sectional Championship. Madison United Mixed Ultimate, Madison Mad Udderburn, and Madison Mousetrap also qualified for the next round. Mousetrap won a thrilling game-to-go 11-10 against Madison Boomtown Pandas.
- The Northwest Plains Sectional Championship was won by Twin Cities No Touching!, who defeated Minnesota Star Power 13-10 in the final. Minneapolis Bird, Twin Cities Pandamonium, and Lake Elmo Pushovers qualified for Regionals as well. Pushovers beat St. Paul Limbo 13-10 in the game-to-go.
- #23 St. Louis Good Company captured first at the West Plains Sectional Championship after a 15-5 victory over Omaha Fatal Attraction in the title game. Ames CLX earned second, getting past Fatal Attraction 15-10 in the second-place final, while St. Louis ConSTLation defeated Springfield QCO 15-8 in the game-to-go.
Northeast
- Brooklyn Grand Army finished first at the Metro New York Sectional Championship with a 15-5 win against New York Friends and Lovers in the final. Newburgh Funk got the last bid as they got past NY Swipes with a 14-10 win in the game-to-go.
- It was an all Burlington final as Burlington Big Rig took home first place at North New England Sectionals, ahead of Burlington Zero Strategy. Portland The Buoy Association claimed the last spot over Who, ME.
- Boston Wild Card was undefeated at South New England Sectionals, and their weekend was capped off with a win over Mansfield Darkwing 15-9 in the championship game. Providence Quahogs defeated Boston Obscure 15-9 in the game-to-go.
- The Upstate New York Sectional Championship final was a tight battle as Albany Bench edged Buffalo Lake Effect 12-11. Ithaca Townies earned second by defeating Lake Effect in the second-place game 12-11, while Rochester Garbage Plates cruised past Rochester Garbage Pla(C)e 15-3 in the game-to-go.
Northwest
- #18 Salt Lake City Sego finished first at Big Sky Sectionals with a 15-11 victory over Montana MOONDOG 15-11 in the championship game. The game-to-go was won by Utah Sundrift, who defeated the Bozeman Bozos 14-11.
- #17 Oregon Scorch was first at Oregon Sectionals as they finished undefeated, including a 15-9 decision over Portland Porch Bears in the championship game. Also heading to Regionals are Portland Hive, Bend Viking Blood, Bend Igenous Ultimate, and Corvallis Drip. Drip won a thrilling game-to-go against Portland Choco Ghost House 13-12.
- The Washington/BC Sectional Championship was won by #7 Seattle BFG as they got past Seattle Spoke 11-10 in a close final. The other qualifiers were Seattle Lights Out, Vancouver Victors, Seattle Pegasus, and Seattle Bullet Train, who bested Seattle Soft Serve 11-10 in the game-to-go.
South Central
- Wichita Impact defeated Oklahoma City Armory 15-11 in the final of the Red River Sectional Championship. Armory rebounded to beat Little Rock soLAR 15-14 in a close game-to-go.
- The Rocky Mountain Sectional Championship was captured by Denver Green Chiles, who got by Denver Space Ghosts 14-9 in the final. Top seed Denver Flight Club defeated Albuquerque Sin Nombre 13-11 in the game-to-go to also qualify.
- At the one-day South Texas Sectionals, Houston Zero Turn Lawnmower finished 2-0 with victories over Austin Moontower and Houston Y’all. Moontower also earned a spot to Regionals as they beat Y’all 15-3.
Southeast
- #24 Nashville ‘Shine beat Atlanta Roma Ultimate 15-12 the final at the East Coast Sectional Championship. Also qualifying were Atlanta Murmur, Columbia Bar None, and Savannah Conspiracy, who got by Chattanooga MoonPi 15-10 in the game-to-go.
- In the Florida Sectional Championship, it was a tight battle for the one bid as Tallahassee Southern Gothic bested Gainesville B-Unit 11-10 in the final.
- Baton Rouge Amber upset Birmingham BUMS in the final 12-8 at the Gulf Coast Sectional Championship. BUMS bested Huntsville Space Invaders 13-5 in the game-to-go to rebound from their championship game loss.
- Asheville Parliament captured the North Carolina Sectional Championship title with a 13-11 victory over Wilmington Fly Trap. Also qualifying for Regionals were: Durham Brunch Club, Raleigh Malice In Wonderland, Charlotte Catalyst, and Boone Blue Ridge Sasquatch. Blue Ridge Sasquatch got past Durham Maganimouse 13-11 in the game-to-go.
Southwest
- The Nor Cal Sectional Championship was combined with the West Bay Sectional Championship, where #6 San Francisco Polar Bears beat #13 San Francisco Mischief 13-11 in the final. The teams who qualified were Regionals were Bay Area Donuts, South Bay LIT Ultimate, Sunnyvale BW Ultimate, San Francisco Classy, San Francisco American Barbecue, and San Francisco Mango. Mango beat East Bay Ghostbusters 13-9 in the game-to-go.
- #16 San Diego California Burrito placed first at the So Cal Conference Championship with a close 9-8 victory over #14 Los Angeles Lotus in the title clash. Also advancing to Regionals were Santa Barbara Landsharks, San Diego Shipwreck, Culver City Octonauts, and Phoenix Phlagstaff Ultimate. Phlagstaff Ultimate defeated Los Angeles Spoiler Alert 9-6 in the game-to-go.
