GIF: Philly Spinners Pull Off Insane Greatest, Double Mac Buzzer-Beating Layout Score

This play from the MLU’s Philadelphia Spinners season opener against the Boston Whitecaps defies simple explanation. With time winding down in the first half, Nick Hirranet threw a greatest to keep the play alive. The disc was mac’ed first by a Boston defender, then bounced off of the chest of a Spinners receiver, before floating to the back of the endzone, where it was tracked down by Himalaya Mehta for an insane layout score:

Crazy Philadelphia Spinners Greatest

Philadelphia went up 11-8 heading into halftime and held on to win 18-16.
