Major League Ultimate will livestream 14 games in the 2015 season, the league announced today on its website.
The first game of the year will be a west coast battle between the Seattle Rainmakers and the Portland Stags on Sunday, April 19th. The season concludes with the streaming of both Conference Championships and the MLU Championship.
The number of streamed games has been reduced by nearly half; in 2014, there were 24 live games on YouTube.
“Fans will note that we have moved our focus to one live stream per weekend,” said MLU Director of Video Production Matt Gray. “This decision was driven by our broadcast partnerships and reflects our commitment to delivering the highest quality product to our fans, sponsors and partners. We will still offer video coverage of every single MLU game and expect to provide a considerably improved experience for both live and on-demand content.”
