Morgan Hibbert On Why He’s Leaving Furious George

I emailed with Morgan Hibbert about his decision to leave Furious George for GOAT. Here’s what he said:

I think it can be best summed up in that Furious is going in a new younger direction, one that I fully support as there are a lot of young and very talented players coming up through the Vancouver system. However, I would have been the oldest player on the team this year and I am not sure how many more years my body can handle the grind (my permanent injuries are well documented).

GOAT gives me a new opportunity and a new challenge, and the chance to play with a lot of my friends that I have only played with on national teams before. We play this sport for fun and for love and I wanted to try a new adventure before I get to a point where I no longer have that option.
