WNBA Coach Visits Atlanta Ozone Practice

An awesome story out of Atlanta.

Nicki Collen, head coach of the Atlanta Dream, stopped by Atlanta Ozone practice recently. The team taught coach a few things about ultimate and Collen gave some encouragement as Ozone prepares Southeast Regionals and beyond.

Collen, who just wrapped up her second year as a head coach, led the team to the WNBA semifinals in 2018 and, as a player, led both Purdue and Marquette to NCAA tournament appearances.

Ozone has been cultivating quite a relationship with the Dream, with Ozone players attending games frequently and even interacting with players. Ozone’s 2019 jerseys pay homage to the Dream.
