The splintering of San Francisco Revolver amongst the various semi-professional teams in the Bay Area continues.
Mac Taylor, a Team USA player at the 2013 World Games, has re-signed with MLU’s San Francisco Dogfish.
“Mac Taylor is the type of keystone player you can build a team around,” said Dogfish Head Coach Justin Safdie in a press release. “He is hands down the best player in the league, and I am ecstatic to have him back for another season.”
The signing comes on the heels of the departure of many of Taylor’s Revolver teammates from the Dogfish. Beau Kittredge, Ashlin Joye, and others have signed with the AUDL’s San Jose Spiders; Ryo Kawaoka and a number of others joined the Spiders’ Bay Area rival, the San Francisco Flamethrowers.
Taylor was a statistical standout for the Dogfish last season, finishing the year with 24 assists, 6 goals, and 11 blocks.
