Announcing The WUCC Pools & Format

Which pools are the deadliest? What do you think about the formats?

Ultiworld is excited to announce the official WFDF 2018 World Ultimate Club Championships pools and format for each Division with the start of the tournament just over three weeks from today!

The top eight teams in each division were directly seeded by WFDF into the top spots in each pool. After that, groups of four teams (e.g. seeds 9-12, 13-16) were created and then randomly assigned to their respective pools.

As you will see in the infographics below, only the bottom finisher in each of the initial pools will be eliminated from Championship contention, so there are plenty of chances for teams to make a move for a run in the bracket.

The full competition schedule and game broadcast information is forthcoming. See our previous announcements about the 128 teams competing and the opening showcase game between Netherlands’ GRUT and USA’s Wild Card.
