D-III teams traveled to FCS D-III Tune Up to see the type of competition they wouldn’t otherwise see during the season — out of region competition from within their division. Brandeis and UNC Asheville might otherwise never meet, but had a chance to put their stamp on the season and insert themselves into the bid conversation with a win.
