Sideline Talk is Ultiworld’s subscriber-only podcast about the people and personalities of ultimate. Charlie Eisenhood hosts long form, in-depth interviews with marquee figures in the sport.
Morgan Hibbert is a Canadian legend. An eight-time member of Team Canada, Hibbert bridges the gap between the Vancouver Furious George championship teams of the mid-2000s, the Toronto GOAT teams in the mid-2010s, and the current day.
Hibbert has won multiple world championships, including WUGC 2008, as well as a USAU Club Championship in 2005 with Furious. He was named the Canadian Male Athlete of the Year by Ultimate Canada in 2011.
On this episode, Hibbert discusses his start in the sport, his competitive drive, the culture of Vancouver ultimate, his extensive injury history and its effect on his game, and what motivates him to keep training hard at age 38. Don’t miss it!
