Q: In a previous Deep Look episode, y’all discussed the possibility of redoing tryouts for WUGC teams. You and Keith both agreed that there was no way this would happen. They would give the players that already made the team the opportunity to play. This makes sense to me.
Is there a difference between that and the PUL/AUDL teams? Those teams already have rosters and there’s a decent chance that those rosters will not get to compete this year. So for the 2021 season, will/should they redo tryouts or give those players the opportunity to play in 2021? To me, it seems more likely (and more appropriate) for them to redo tryouts, but I’m not really sure why. Because it’s more important to build the best team that you can? Because those teams are more regional and people move?
