The most climactic point in ultimate is double game point–also known as ‘Universe Point’–when the pressure is on and a single goal will decide who will be the victor. This club season, Universe Point cleats is presenting every double game point we film. Check out Universe Point if you are looking for a comfortable, ultimate specific cleat with a patented stud pattern that can give you an edge to win your next double game point, or any other time you take the field.
Our series of Universe Points from club regionals continues with this jaw-dropping ending to the 1st place quarterfinal between Pittsburgh Temper and Philadelphia Phantom. Temper was the clear favorite to make it out of the bottom of the bracket, having performed well at the Pro Championships weeks before. Phantom had not logged any significant results in the regular season, winning the only sanctioned tournament they attended against mediocre competition. However, the Philly squad was the benefactor of the end of the AUDL season, picking up multiple NY Empire players, including Jeff Babbitt who made a massive impact in this game (hint!).
