The most climactic point in ultimate is double game point–also known as ‘Universe Point’–when the pressure is on and a single goal will decide who will be the victor. This club season, Universe Point cleats is presenting every double game point we film. Check out Universe Point if you are looking for a comfortable, ultimate specific cleat with a patented stud pattern that can give you an edge to win your next double game point, or any other time you take the field.
The fate of Pool D in the women’s division at the 2021 Club Championships came down to the top two teams in the pool, Raleigh Phoenix and Vancouver Traffic. Led by all around star Catherine Hui and defensive stopper Marie-Ève Beauchemin, Traffic was the lone Canadian team to make the trip down to San Diego. In their way was a rising Phoenix, showing the dividends of years of investment in Triangle area youth ultimate. In an 11-11 tie heading into Universe Point, standouts Lindsay Soo, Mary Rippe, and Dawn Culton look to win this game, the pool, and the bye to quarterfinals, but Traffic starts on offense. It’s a big moment, in a big game, at the biggest tournament!
