NJ Hammerheads Settle Logo Dispute

The logo of the AUDL's New Jersey Hammerheads.A dustup over the use of a temporary tattoo design in the AUDL franchise New Jersey Hammerheads’ logo got settled yesterday after the Hammerheads’ owner Robert Kokai came to an agreement with the tattoo design owner Ed Twedt.

“We have reached a resolution,” said Kokai. Neither party would disclose the final agreement, but Twedt called it “fair for both sides.” The Hammerheads will keep their current logo as part of the arrangement.

“Robert Kokai is a class act,” added Twedt. “He handled this as a gentleman…Robert and I gave each other a virtual handshake and said, ‘Good, let’s move forward.'”

Kokai and Twedt both mentioned a desire to work together in the future.
