After a successful trial run during the club season, VC Ultimate is extending their Women’s Development Sponsorship into the 2017-2018 college season and offering a blanket 20% discount on team orders to all women’s college teams with no strings attached.
VC will also throw in a jersey for the team’s coach for free.
Men’s and mixed teams can qualify, too: teams that are actively supporting gender equity and making a tangible difference for female athletes in their local community can apply for and receive the Women’s Development Sponsorship as well.
“This program came from the idea that we wanted to do something to support gender equity in ultimate without any strings attached for the team – no exclusivity or social media requirements,” said VC Ultimate CEO Adriana Withers. “We just want to work with and get to know more women’s players, teams and leaders, and of course get more players in great fitting VC gear. The other main goal is to continue on our mission to spark conversations around equity, similar to our Future is Female staff shirts. Even if a couple of teams have a discussion sparked by the ideals behind this offer, we’ll consider it a success.”
This Sponsorship doubles VC’s typical 10% Early Bird offer for orders before December 1st or 10% discount for teams that attend Without Limits events.
In order to apply for the Sponsorship, you just need to fill out this short form; VC will be in touch within two business days. The order process includes three hours of free professional design help for orders before December 1st. Teams can also have their players and fans individually order items online to avoid having to collect sizes or money.
